To summarize the research progress in the study of the main chemical composition and pharmacological effects of Hippeastrum vittatum. Recently published papers were consulted by the author.Based on the main chemical composition,the structural formula,molecular weight,pharmacological effects,and perspective development,this paper summarized the advancement of Hippeastrum vittatum. For providing a reference for the further study of the chemical composition and biological activity of Hippeastrum vittatum.
