模块化直线型脉冲变压器(LTD)是脉冲功率技术中的一种新型初级储能装置,开关是其关键部件之一,多极多通道闭合开关工作时能够形成多通道放电,具有电感小的优势。为了研究用于电流上升时间约100ns、电流峰值约100kA的LTD模块设计了一种标称电压为200kV(±100kV)多极多通道气体开关。通过对开关的电场数值计算,对开关设计进行了验证和优化,并对开关的静态特性和动态特性进行了初步的实验研究,结果证明,开关电感〈30nH,并且具有工作范围宽,触发特性好,工作稳定等特点,初步实验表明能够满足模块的要求。
Modular linear transformer driver (LTD) is a novel fast discharge high power pulsed current source on primary storage energy. It can realize many LTD modules in series or parallel connection conveniently, and can directly acquire the rise time of 100 - 200 ns of high power pulsed current. The switch is one of the pivotal component of the LTD. The Multi Gap Multi Channel Gas Spark Switch has the virtue in low inductance and stabilization. This paper introduced a Multi Gap Multi Channel Gas Spark Switch used to fast LTD module with the current rise time of 100 ns, the current peak of 100 kA. The electric field analysis of the switch is carried out for switch design. The experimental results of static and transient property show that the switch with low inductance and finer stabilization is good enough to work for the designed fast LTD module.
