The paper strives to standardize data management specific activities by university library data curation workflow based on data lifecycle.Being facilitated with basic conditions for developing the data curation service,university library still has the problems of data sharing,coevolution, metadata and schemas,controlled vocabularies and taxonomies,domain-specific ontology,etc.Therefore,the paper brings forward data curation workflow based on data lifecycle,dividing into seven stages as follows：receive,evaluate,organize,process,describe,access and reuse.Nevertheless,remaining barriers of workflow management exist as preservationfriendly file formats,documentation quality,metadata limitations and data governance concerns.
