英文摘要：

Since the end of last century, regional or even global financial crises with increasingly devastating effects have broken out more and more frequently. As a result, the appeal to change the present international monetary system is getting urgent. The international monetary system reform consists of a broad range of contents, such as international reserve currency system, the exchange rate issues, balance on current accounts, international capital flows and so on. This paper is aiming on the reform of international reserve currency system, the core content of the international monetary system. By analyzing the structure and evolution of global international reserve as well as the trend of international reserve currency value, the paper tries to discover the main problems existing in the present reserve currency system, and makes some comprehensive comments on the possible options in current and future international reserve currency system reforms. The paper provides an overview on the background, reasons, measures and directions of the international reserve currency system reform.
