Based on the MIMO radar system with single frequency signals, the mathematical models of micro - Doppler effect induced by rotation and vibration parts of target are established. Compared to the traditional monostatic radar system, the amplitude and initial phase of micro - Doppler curves induced by rotation vary with different selections of observing transmitting/receiving radar pairs. In case of vibration, only the amplitude of micro - Doppler curves varies, the initial phase keeps the same value. The simulation results validate the theoretical conclusions, whieh provide theoretic support for micro - motion feature extraction and target recognition in MIMO radar system.
