A lab course is an important part of the study of morphology in areas such as medical microbiology.In response to the need for teaching reforms in higher education and increased use of multimedia teaching techniques,the author constructed and used a digital database of medical microbiology specimens.This digital database combines digital microscopic imaging and related software and digital technology to decrease the wasting of specimens and remedy the lack of specimens in teaching and testing.This database improved the operational efficiency of teachers and increased the enthusiasm of students,improving the quality of teaching.
