设计了一种带新型非对称反射腔的同轴相对论返波振荡器,实现了X波段的双频稳定输出。利用CHIPIC2.5维粒子模拟软件进行粒子模拟研究。仿真结果表明,在强流电子束电压为480kV,电流为7.5kA,引导磁场为2.7T的条件下,得到稳定的双频输出,频率分别为8.7GHz,9.4GHz,平均功率800Mw,效率22.2%。
A dual-band coaxial relativistic backward wave oscillator (CRBWO) with a dissymmetric reflection cavity was designed and simulated with software CHIPIC2.5. The dual-frequency stable output at X-band was realized. The simulation result shows that with electron beams of 480 kV and 7.5 kA guided by a magnetic field of 2.7 T, the stable dual-frequency microwave output of 8.7 GHz and 9.4 GHz at X-band is obtained, whose average power is 800 MW and average power effi-ciency is 22.2%.
