As a global hegemonic power, the United States exerts powerful influences on the economic and political pattern of the world. This article systematically analyzes the features of the United States＇ geographical location, and identifies the evolutionary stages and characteristics of the United States＇ geostrategy during its rise. The United States is separated by vast oceans, which creates a relatively independent environment for its founding.Controlling the core of American Continent, the United States is the sole power in America.With wide and flat terrain, the United States has the largest habitable land and continuous farmland in the world. Relying on the excellent geographical location, the United States has gone through various geopolitical phases including independence and founding of the state,continental spreading, overseas expansion, construction of the international order, and global hegemony since its founding in 1776. During the rise of the United States, its geostrategy presents characteristics such as formulating the corresponding geostrategy in various stages,expanding continental command under the guidance of ＂national interest＂, strengthening strategic security forces, formulating and maintaining the international order, and exporting and promoting American values.
