由于IPv4地址短缺,IPv6受到广泛的关注,而互联网的IPv6过渡问题制约了IPv6及其相关新技术的广泛使用。本文针对该问题提出了一种IPv4/IPv6过渡的通用框架——软线式网状构架。该框架既适用于IPv6 over IPv4的情况,也适用于IPv4 over IPv6的情况。
Due to the shortage of IPv4 addresses, IPv6 protocol draws more and more attention from both research and industrial field. There is a foundamental problems in the IPv4/IPv6 transition process. That is how to surpport the previous IPv4 communications based on IPv6 backbone. To solve the problem the paper proposed a IPv4/IPv6 transition general architecture, called Softwire mesh architecture which is suitable for not only IPv6 over IPv4, but IPv4 over IPv6 scenario as well. In addition a interact connecting protocol for different IP address families was designed to solve the connecting problem in IPv4/IPv6 transition process, which finally makes our architecture better.
