学术界对维吾尔语等突厥语人称代词的来历有不同看法。本文根据突厥语碑铭所显示的古突厥语人称代词的形式,赞同古代突厥语的单数第一人称代词形式为*bi。早期的第二人称代词复数形式siz在后来的语言成为单数的尊称,早期的第三人称单、复数形式到了现代的语言中有较大的变化。
Scholars argued with different opinions on initial forms of personal pronouns in Ancient Turkic languages. According to the first personal pronouns in Ancient Turkic inscriptions in tablets,the author agrees to that the first single pronoun was _*bi in Ancient Turkic languages. And it is told that the ancient second plural personal pronoun siz had been changed to the respectful form address to the single in later languages. More changes have taken place from the ancient third plural personal pronouns to modem Turkic languages.
