Under the background of worldwide crisis of ecological environment, this article analyzed the relationship between the ecological concept and the green concept, summarized basic concepts, research history and future trends of ecological urban design, and established a basic technological system of ecological urban design. This article also proposed ecological urban design strategies from the perspectives of ecological environmental key elements and spatial form key elements, aiming to provide a design guide for sustainable urban development.
