维生素D不仅能调节钙磷代谢,维持血钙稳定,而且在维持胰岛β细胞功能及胰岛素敏感性方面也发挥重要作用。越来越多的研究证实维生素D不足或缺乏与代谢综合征(MS)之间存在关联。其机制可能与减少胰岛素的合成和分泌、加速胰岛β细胞凋亡、降低胰岛素敏感性、增加肾素-血管紧张素Ⅱ表达、促进脂质沉积等有关。现从维生素D的代谢、生物作用、营养状况、维生素D与MS各组分的关系及发病机制等方面进行综述,以便探索应用维生素D预防和治疗MS的新方法。
Vitamine D is not only able to regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism to maintain calcium homeostasis in the human body,but also plays important roles in maintaining β-cell function and insulin sensitivity.More and more studies confirm that there is a correlation between vitamin D insufficiency or deficiency and metabolic syndrome(MS).The mechanism may be related to decrease of insulin synthesis and secretion,acceleration of β-cell apoptosis,reduction of insulin sensitivity,increase of renin-angiotensin Ⅱ expression,promotion of lipid deposit and so on.Here is to make a review on the vitamin D metabolism,biological role,evaluation of nutritional status,the relationship between vitamin D and the various components of MS and its possible pathogenesis,with the aims to understand the role of vitamin D better and looking for new prevention methods and treatments of MS.
