Conditions for road passage are the premises of traffic safety operation. On the basis of numerous practices,this paper puts forward the concept of highway passable conditions index,analyzes the influence factors of safety prevailing conditions from the highway and its current situation,natural light environmental conditions and climate conditions,and proposes the quantitative calculation method for the prevailing conditions. Demonstration shows that this paper＇s highway passable conditions index and its calculation method do play an important role in the evaluation of highway prevailing conditions,and analysis of strengths and weaknesses of highway passable conditions.
