The concept that modeling analysis must be carried out in the process of electromagnetic engineering design and measurement is proposed.The methods of building numerical model by computer are also illustrated,such as template analysis,electromagnetic source modeling,modeling of interconnection wire,and system analysis and design.Finally,the problem which might encounter is discussed by illustrating an example on design of digital signal transmission.
