通过对国内外生态城市建设模式的比较，发现我国的生态城市建设在注重发展循环经济、规划先行、城市绿化和空间节约等方面已经取得了一定的进步，但是在城市建设过程中，公众参与、规划执行保障、切实可行的项目推动、城市特色以及城市建设的科技支撑等方面与发达国家仍存在一定的差距。因此，我国的生态城市建设应该在结合城市建设现状的基础上更多地借鉴国外的先进经验，以此促进城市健康发展。

The results of comparison between domestic and international eco-city patterns show that some progresses have been made in eco - city development of China, such as circular economy development, planning in advance, urban green- ing and space - saving, but there are larger gaps between China and developed countries in public participation, planning guar-antee system, feasible projects, city characteristics, science and technology support in the process of city development. There- fore, on the basis of combining the present situation of cities, some advanced experiences of foreign countries should be learn- ed in order to promote healthful develonment of cities in China.
