为了有效地提高了图像信息的利用率和系统对目标探测识别的可靠性。在此提出一种基于区域最大值的图像融合方法。首先,对两幅源图像进行三层小波分解,对高频分量采用了基于区域最大值的融合策略,低频分量采用平均值的融合策略。结果表明,在此所提融合方法无论是对多焦距图像还是医学图像,融合效果都明显优于对比实验的融合效果,都更好地保留了图像的细节信息,具有较好的视觉效果。
In order to effectively improve utilization rate of the image information and reliability of the system for target detection and indentification, a kind of image fusion method based on the regional maximum value is proposed in this paper. Firstly, three-layer wavelet decomposition for two source images is performed, and then the maximum region fusion strategy is adopted for high frequency components while the average value fusion strategy is employed for the low frequency components. The experimental results show that the effect of the presented fusion method is much better than the fusion effect of other methods in the contrast test, no matter for multi-focus images or medical images. It saves more image details, and has good visual effect.
