鲍德里亚先是开创了符号一物社会批判理论,揭开了商品作为消费对象物的鲜为人知的特异性能,即现代社会消费物作为符号而为人的社会表意性存在。尔后,由符号一物社会批判转向拟真类象社会的批判探析,其新的理论创见在于以后现代的话语方式描述总括了西方高科技境遇中人们社会生活内容与方式日趋拟真模塑化、超真实效应、价值碎片化而不断拆解及无限重组的情势,并相应提出追随、助长客体致极的宿命策略,含蓄地预示了西方后现代这种超极限的增殖发展可能将导致高科技资本主义社会形态的终结和某种新东西的出现。显然,鲍德里亚的后现代反讽式形上之思仍内含着狡黠的批判精神,而这是不容被忽视的。
Baudrillard creates the sociocritical theory of objets-signes to expose the functions of the commodities in modern social consumptions. The theory turns from the criticism of the objets-signes to that of the simulation which is based on the mode of the postmodern discourse in the western hi-tech living with increasing simulation, hyperreality, fragmented values. All this forecasts that this extreme multiplication in the postmodern west may lead to the end of the hi-tech capitalism as a social form, and the emergence of certain new form.
