This paper briefly reviews the concept design process of Yangxian Pottery Museum.Mainly from three aspects：general layout,space construction and material texture,this paper presents that the design has meet the functional requirements of Yangxian Pottery Museum,combined with local climatic conditions and cultural traditions of purple sands,and also created a positive indoor and outdoor space at the same time. It also focuses on how to reflect the time characteristics and spirit of place of the architecture in the local traditional context.
