为比较不同水生植物的提取液对噬菌体的抑制作用,采用双层琼脂平板计数法研究了水蓼、红蓼、芦苇、芦竹和香蒲等5种水生植物不同部位的提取液对噬菌体T4和f2的化感作用。当提取液浓度为0.5∥L时,水蓼叶对噬菌体T4、f2的抑制率分别达到91%、93%;水蓼茎对T4、f2的抑制率分别为65%、61%;水蓼根对T4、f2的抑制率分别为66%、100%。水蓼根对噬菌体的化感抑制作用最强,对噬菌体T4的半效应浓度(Ec∞)为0.6mg/L,对噬菌体f2的EC劬为7.6mg/L;芦竹茎对噬菌体T4和f2的EC50均为16mg/L,香蒲叶对T4和f2的EC50分别为16mg/L和20mg/L。可见,水蓼具有强抑制噬菌体的能力。
The double agar overlay (DAL) method was used to test the inhibition effect of extracts from hydrophytes on coliphages growth by the plaque forming unit (PFU) assay. The study was made on the allelopathy on two coliphages (T4 and f2) growth caused by extracts from different parts of five hydrophytes (Polygonum hydropiper , Polygonum orientale , Phragmites communis , Arundo donax and Typha latifolia). When the extract concentration is 0.5 g/L, the inhibition rate (IR) of Polygonum hydropiper leaf on eoliphages T4 and f2 are 91% and 93% , the IR of Polygortum hydropiper stem on coliphages T4 and f2 are 65% and 61%, and the IR of Polygonurn hydropiper root on coliphages T4 and f2 are 66% and 100% , respectively. The Polygonum hydropiper root shows the greatest inhibition, whose ECso for coliphages T4 and f2 are 0.6 mg/L and 7.6 rag/L, respectively. The ECs0 of Arundo dottax stem for co- liphages T4 and f2 is all 16 rag/L, and the ECso of Typha latifolia leaf for coliphages T4 and f2 are 16 mg/L and 20 mg/L, respectively. It is concluded that Polygortum hydropiper has strong inhibition effect on the coliphages.
