Creative city construction is an internal requirement for the development of new Quanzhou mode.The analysis of the current creative city construction based on the use of CATG evaluation model showed that the particalar features and advantages of Quanzhou creative city construction included rich resourses of cultural heritage,high city tolerance, high open degree.So it is necessary for Quanzhou to apply to join Creative Cities Network by UNESCO with the theme of capital of crafts and folk arts, then take it as the strategic evaluation for creative city construction in Quanzhou, make preparation in talents introduce, science and technology promotion, culture facility construction and favor environment construction.
