The minimum inhibitory concentrations(MIC) of natural dyes,reactive dyes and natural reactive dyes were measured for Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli strains.The results showed,all of the three kinds of dyes had antibacterial activity,and their antibiotic actions to stains used in the experiments were different.The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of natural reactive dyes was between that of natural dyes and reactive dyes.
