以水镁石、多聚磷酸、十二胺为原料,通过对水镁石颗粒进行表面改性包覆多聚磷酸胺制备水镁石/多聚磷酸胺复合阻燃剂,并填充到乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯塑料(EVAC)中,进一步与经过预处理的玻璃纤维(GF)混合得到复合阻燃剂阻燃EVAC/GF复合材料。通过力学性能测试、热重分析、极限氧指数测试、UL94测试等表征手段考察了GF对复合材料阻燃性能与力学性能的影响。当复合阻燃剂质量分数为46%、预处理GF质量分数为4%、EVAC质量分数为50%时,复合材料的LOI为29.2%,拉伸强度为11.93MPa,断裂伸长率为310.5%,达到UL94 V-0级别。
Brucite / ammonium polyphosphate complex flame retardant particles were synthetized from brucite, polyphosphoric acid and dodecylamine by layer-by-layer coating method, and filled into ethylene-vinyl acetate plastic (EVAC). Furthermore, pretreated glass fiber (GF) was employed to enhance the mechanical properties by physical mixing with complex flame retardant EVAC composite. The flame-retardant resistance and thermal stability were evaluated by mechanical performance test, thermogravimetry, limiting oxygen index test and UL94 rating test. When the mass fractions of complex flame retardant, pretreated GF, EVAC are 46%, 4%, 50%, the tensile strength, the elongation at break, the LOI are 11.93 MPa, 310.5%, 29.2%, respectively. The composites could reach UL94 V-0 level.
