Through the simulation of solidification microstructure,the properties of materials can be well predicted.It has great significance to the actual production.The three major simulation models of microstructure (deterministic model,stochastic model and phase-field model) and the status of their applications are described,and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed.With the development of computer technology and the emergence of new model,the direction of development of numerical simulation will have high precision,high efficiency and speed.
