Four chiral selective cation- exchange membranes with separation factor of 1.05 for electrodiaiysis resolution of DL - a - phenylglycine have been used in a four - stage electrodialysis setup. When the current density is 46 mA/cm^2 and the feed rate is 0.2 mL/min, the overall separation factor is 1.20. The influences of the feed rate and the current density on separation have been studied.
