The cultivation of college students＇ initiative is an open education and the education to follow the law of development. Contemporary college students lack independence, problem consciousness and the ability to think about a problem, and also lack the pursuit of independent and free development of their own due to the weak initiative as an independent individual. To cultivate college students＇ initiative, universities should transform the educational philosophy from cultivating ＂talent＂ into ＂human＂, shift the curriculum setup from ＂knowledge system＂ to ＂value sys- tem＂, strengthen the social responsibility of college students and improve their responsibility consciousness.
