在资源受限的手机上开发网络游戏很有挑战性。各种各样手机不同的屏幕大小和输入设计使得为某一款手机设计的游戏引擎很难兼容其他型号的手机。针对该问题,设计出一个交互式自适应的手机网络游戏引擎,它能够自动适应不同屏幕大小和输入按键设计的手机,从而实现对不同型号手机的兼容。并于最后给出了一个游戏引擎的应用实例以证明本设计的可行性。该游戏在超过100多种型号的手机上面运行良好,并赢得2006年度中国十佳手机网络游戏奖。
Developing MMORPG for resource-constrained mobile phones is extremely challenging. Because of the screen and input mechanism variance of different mobile phones, game engine for a certain mobile phone is difficult to be used on other mobile phones. An interactive adaptive mobile MMORPG game engine was proposed, which could auto-adapt to the screen and input mechanism of different mobile phones. A commercial game was given to verify the design of this paper at the end. This game has been run in more than 100 types of mobile phones, and wins the top-ten mobile network games of 2006 in China.
