According to the performance evaluation of the National Distinguish Young Scientists Foundation Projects funded by Department of Math and Physics of NSFC during 2002--2006, the paper analysed the funding status of the projects and the evaluation results, summarized the performance characteristics of the projects as well, and pointed out some issues and proposes to making the projects progress.
