超短脉冲激光在光波导阵列中传输产生的非线性折射率通常会导致功率的局域化,而逐渐形成孤子,本文通过耦合模理论模拟发现,功率局域化的主要条件依赖于波导折射率差,当波导折射率差较小时,随着非线性折射率的增加会出现反局域化的现象。进一步分析发现,波导阵列初始折射率差、非线性折射率差和最大耦合常数对应的饱和折射率差之间的关系决定了局域化和反局域化过程。用高重复频率飞秒激光光刻波导技术制作了波导阵列,注入低重复频率的飞秒激光,引入非线性折射率,观察到局域化和反局域化过程。
Nonlinear refractive index generated by ultrashort pulse laser in waveguide array leads normally to discrete nonlinear localization and discrete spatial soliton.By the simulation,it is shown that the nonlinear localization depends on the refractive index changes of waveguide array.While refractive index changes of waveguide array is small,the delocalization is possible.Nonlinear localization and delocalization are decided by the relationship between initiate refractive index change of waveguide array,nonlinear refractive index,and saturation refractive index change which corresponds to optimal coupling constant.The nonlinear localization and delocalization are also observed by using a high repetition-rate femtosecond laser inscription waveguide array injected by low repetition rate femtosecond laser.
