网络重载时无线mesh网络会发生严重的不公平性,导致部分节点产生“饿死”现象.为保证网络公平性,首次提出公平队列管理和无线资源公平分配的联合解决方案.在分析了无线mesh网络空间不公平性的基础上,通过改进IEEE 802.11竞争窗口处理方法得到一种新的自适应分布式无线资源分配协议(adaptive distributed radio resource allocation,ADRRA).仿真实验比较了ADRRA与IEEE 802.11 DCF协议、赤字轮询与弃尾协议.结果表明,ADRRA协议实现无线mesh网络的无线资源可控管理,在网络重载时保证了较高吞吐量,并提高了网络公平性.ADRRA与赤字轮询队列管理的联合解决方案改进了网络公平性.
Serious unfairness occurs and some nodes starve when a wireless mesh network (WMN) is under heavy load. A joint solution with fair queue management and radio resource allocation was proposed to insure network fairness. Based on the analysis of spatial unfairness in WMN, approach of contention window in IEEE 802. 11 was improved to achieve a novel MAC protocol named adaptive distributed radio resource allocation (ADRRA). The simulation experiments compared ADRRA with IEEE 802. 11 DCF, and deficit round-robin (DRR) with droptail. The results indicate that ADRRA implements radio allocation in WMN, that WMN using ADRRA can keep high throughput and better fairness, and that the joint fairness solution with ADRRA and DRR can improve fairness.
