In recent years, the authors went to Yunnan Province for collection and investigation, collected many of specimens of Museidae, and during the process of examining specimens, discovered Phaonia villana female specimens for the first time; There is no description of Phaonia villana female specimens before, even in its original report, for this reason, the external morphorological characters and the figures of female terminalia were all given. Phaonia villana- group originally belonged to Phaonia fuscata-group, but because of the radial node on ventral surhce with hair, thus separated from the latter to build another group. Phaonia viUana-group known three species in China： Phaonia fusciapicalis Feng et Ma, 2002, Phaonia viUana Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 and Phaonia baoxingensis Feng et Ma, 2002. The specimens examined are all deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Shenyang Normal University.
