Organic-bentonke was prepared by using octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride as modifier. The adsorption of organicbentonite on reactive brilliant red X - 313 was studied. The results showed that the adsorptive percentage reached 93.2% in treating 25mg/L reactive brilliant red X - 3B wastewater at pH = 6 by 0.5g/ 200mL organic-bentonite. And the curves of isothermal adsorption of organic-bentonite in treating reactive brilliant red X - 3B were in llne with the equation of Freundlich, q= 6.36c^0.7736.
