The dividing method of urban impact scope is mainly studied.Firstly,the concept of im-pact scope of geographical object is proposed by taking point geographical object as examples, then the impact scope analysis method of geographical objects is expounded.After this,the meth-od is applied to divide the impact scope of 17 cities in Henan Province in two-dimensional hetero-geneous environment,and it is compared with GIS division method.Finally,the characteristics of this method are summarized and its application scenarios are described,and the problems of the method and the direction for further study are probed.
