Fictions of M axine Hong Kingston have alw ays been discussed from various perspectives,such as feminism,identity,cultural identity,anti-w ar,and etc. How ever,through her three fictions and interview s w ith her,it is easy to find that Kingston＇s subject construction of female,collective identity reshaping of male immigrants and imagination upon human spiritual home finally lead to the construction of inclusive community. That is the rooted narration through Kingston＇s w orks is her longing for the building of community.
