Interact of Things （IOT） has a wide range of applications in agriculture with the rapid development and it brings unprecedented opportunities for modem agriculture construction in China. This paper expounded the development of IOT and introduced the status quo of IOT in agriculture. Then the authors took the application of IOT in asparagus as an example to give a description of the architecture about IOT in agriculture, and also gave an overview of the application status of IOT in agricultural production environment supervising. Finally, combining with the current development trend of information technology, the prospect of IOT in agriculture was discussed.
