转化医学核心是指从实验室到病床,再到实验室。将这一国际医学领域新概念引入中医学,对其现代化发展将具有深远意义。中医学与转化医学结合模式可建立在整体观、辨证论治的基础上,从系统生物学和个体化医学的角度打开研究思路,鼓励多学科交叉,从而实现中医学的转化。笔者以多年来实践为例,以慢性筋骨病推广方案、中医理论与干细胞结合研究、中医临床与转化医学研究模式探索等几方面为切入点,阐述了转化医学在中医药中的应用,并展望了中医学与转化医学结合的未来将立足于＂治未病＂,并将与西方医学殊途同归。

英文摘要：

Translational Medicine refers to bench to bedside,and then bedside to bench.It would be significant to introduce this concept in international medical domain into traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）.The combination of translational medicine and TCM could be based on the holistic view and different treatment.Moreover,systems biology,personalized medicine and interdisciplinary cooperation should also be encouraged to open research ideas.In this article,the author explained the application of TCM in translational medicine from the view of pilot study of outreach programs in chronic disease of bones and muscles,combination research of TCM theory and stem cells,TCM clinic and translational research model.Look ahead the future of the combination of TCM and translational medicine would be based on ＂prevention＂,and TCM and western medicine would reach the same goal by different routes.
