Building the socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics is not only a theoretical requirement of China＇s economic construction and reform practice,but a significant opportunity for China＇s economic development as well. It is an important premise to seek the theoretical starting point or basis of the socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics in terms of its construction. Considering the nature of the socialist political economics,marxist political economics should be the source of its theory,western economics is used as a theoretical reference,and marxist philosophy and Chinese traditional culture is its basis of methodology. Of course,the theoretical basis of building the socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics does not refer to the entire of marxist political economics,western economics,marxist philosophy and Chinese traditional culture,but those which can be connected with China＇s reality and have certain explanatory theories.
