为了提高超宽带接收机性能,提出一种适用于TH-PPM调制方式的超宽带信道估计算法,并对其误码率性能及复杂度进行了分析。算法基于信道频域特性,结合递归最小二乘(RLS)计算,达到信道参数估计的目的。算法可同时对多路信道进行估计,而且对幅度和相位不存在模糊因子。通过计算机仿真和与最大似然法信道估计算法的对比表明,该算法在误码率为10-4时,信噪比增益约为2 dB。通过对该算法性能的理论分析及计算机仿真实验表明,该算法在保证信道估计性能的前提下具有低复杂度,易于工程实现的优点。
This paper proposed an ultra-wideband channel estimation algorithm suitable for TH-PPM modulation to promote the performance of the UWB receiver.It analyzed the BER performance and the computational complexity of the algorithm.The algorithm estimated channel parameters based on the features in frequency domain with the help of recursive least squares.The algorithm conld perform estimations for multiple channels,and there was no ambiguity in both the amplitude and the phase of the estimated channel.Simulation results show a promising gain of 2 dB around the BER of 10-4,compared to ML channel estimation.Theoretical analyses and simulation results show that the algorithm is of low complexity and is easy to apply in engineering with good channel estimating performance.
