采用纳米TiB2作为增强相,研究了其对TiAl合金室温力学性能和微观组织的影响。采用行星球磨机混粉,SPS烧结制备了Ti-46Al-xTiB2(x=0、0.5、1.0、1.5,体积分数),并测试了其室温压缩性能。结果表明,当纳米TiB2含量为0.5%时,TiAl复合材料的力学性能显著提高,与Ti-46Al合金相比提高了71.2%和37.5%,这是因为纳米TiB2对TiAl产生晶粒细化的作用。但随着纳米TiB2的增加,其团聚也越发严重,并且纳米TiB2主要集中在晶界处,可能对基体产生割裂作用,这会降低材料的力学性能。
With the addition of nano-TiB2, Ti-46Al-xTiB2 (x= 0,0.5,1.0 ;1.5, in volume fraction) was prepared by planetary ball combined with SPS sintering method. The mechanical properties, microstruc- ture and ambient compressive behavior of the alloy prepared were investigated. The results show that TiA1 alloy exhibits the relatively excellent mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 1 543 MPa and elongation of 19.4% with 0.5%TiB~, which are increased by 71.2% and 37. 5%, compared with those of Ti-6A1 alloy, respectively. It is attributed to the refinement effects of nano-TiB2 particle on the TiA| alloy. However, with the increase of TiB2, the nano-TiB2 exhibits more and more serious segrega- tion in grain boundary, which in turn deteriorates the mechanical propertie as a result of cutting effects on the matrix.
