The economy of the mountainous area played an important role in China＇s national economy. The mountainous area will be the main consolidation area in the future. Taking Miyun County the mountainous area of Beijing as study case, in this paper, the status of economy and rural settlements, issue exist in rural residential land were analyzed. Then four models for rural residential land consolidation were put forward： the urbanization of rural settlement, collation village type, moving to the main village and village gather model.
