A mathematical model for optimal deployment of sediment resources in irrigation districts of Yellow River is established by means of Analytical Hierarchy Process（AHP） based on the study on optimal deployment principle,conservation relationship,multi-objectives function and restriction conditions.The amount of sediment in the irrigation districts of the Henan Province and Shandong Province was determined by solving the mathematical model with Simplex Method.
