Neutral calcium sulfonate was produced from metathesis of vacuum cut 3＇s paraffin base petroleum sodiumsulfonate and Ca Cl2,which had calcification reaction under the effect of promoter to prepare paraffin base petroleum calcium sulfonate. According to the investigation and analysis result of the processed raw materials,the yield and the metalion content,the yield of neutral calcium sulfonate after metathesis was above 95%,sodium ion content was decreased from20 000×10-6to 8 000×10-6,calcium ion content was increased from 12.8×10-6to 8 000×10-6. During the metathesis process,the reaction temperature of 25% Ca Cl2 solution was 60 ℃ with the 3 h reaction time,and the best reaction effect was found.
