Traditional Chinese medicine Barbadoslily is rich in alkaloids active ingredients , among which lycorine is the most active .Through years of research ,lycorine has been found to play an important role in many pharmacological effects , such as anti-tumor , anti-inflam-matory, antiviral, antibacterial, heart-blood system protection and insecticidal .The phar-macological effects of lycorine found in recent years were summarized .Through reviewing a large number of domestic and foreign literature , hope to provide adequate theoretical basis for future drug development and clinical application of lycoris .
