In accordance with the basic purpose of building design against earthquake and the action of seismic accelerating response spectrum in foundation soil and building, limit strength method was used to verify the structural safety performance and research the natural period of structure and rotational damping characteristics of the dynamic and static foundation and soil coupling system in horizontal direction. It is of great significant to evaluate natural period and damping of foundation and structural coupling system.
