The polymorphisms of HERG potassium ion channel are associated with the risk of QT syndrome and sensibility to drugs.Detection of the polymorphisms of HERG has far-reaching significance not only to the therapy and prevention of QT syndrome but also to reevaluation of the drug safety and personalized medical.Hence this article summarizes the pharmacogenomic study of HERG related to QT syndrome,in order to provide evidence to personalized therapies and drug safety evaluation.
