桑树是一种重要的生态经济型林木,桑树资源的综合利用及桑树产业的开发正得到越来越多的重视。桑树的基础研究是实现桑树产业核心技术创新及产业发展的重要支撑。从桑树DNA分子标记、重要功能基因克隆和转基因研究3个方面概述了桑树分子生物学的研究现状,在此基础上阐明桑树基因组研究的意义,并以桑树蛋白质合成代谢、次生物质合成代谢以及优势性状的分子机制为例,阐述桑树功能基因组实施的关键问题,探讨桑树产业可持续发展的策略。
Mulberry(Morus L.,Moraceae) is an important ecological and economic tree.Recently more and more studies have been focused on comprehensive utilization of mulberry resources and development of mulberry industry.Basic studies on mulberry are important supports to realize innovation of essential technology and development of mulberry industry.In this paper,we summarized the current status of mulberry molecular biological researches in three aspects,namely mulberry DNA molecular markers,cloning of vital functional genes,and transgenic studies,based on which the importance of mulberry genome project was clarified.Furthermore,the anabolic metabolisms of mulberry proteins and secondary substances,and the molecular mechanisms of mulberry advantageous traits were taken as examples to elaborate key problems in implementing mulberry genome project and to explore strategies for sustainable development of mulberry industry.
