A scientific questionnaire survey on the peculiarities of personnel evacuation in subways was formulated and sent to passengers in metros for random investigation. After a thorough analysis and careful statistics of the questionnaire survey data, several regulations were obtained such as the passengers＇ personal parameters, the passengers＇ familiarity degree with the configuration of metro, main fire-fighting installations and passengers＇ first reaction to fire etc. These conclusions will provide more accurate and more effective supports for fire-fighting design of subways.
