Based on the overview of traditional technologies and new technology in improving the saline-alkali soil,including integrated cultivation technique of salt-tolerant plants,marine aquaculture waste water,laying insulating layers by using crops straw,DS soil improvement agent,the drop and spray irrigation technology and rapid fertility technology,the progress on the study of the improvement and utilization technology for saline-alkali soil was illustrated,and finally the prospect of the development in saline-alkali soil improvement was presented.
