The globally exponentially attractive sets of a disk dynamo system are investigated via constructing a Lyapunov function and by definition and optimization theorem.For this system,a four-dimensional ellipsoidal globally exponentially attractive set is derived.The result is applied to the chaos synchronization.Numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
