Bovine neutrophilβ-defensins 5（BNBD5）is one of the antimicrobial peptides which naturally in bovine pulmonary alveolar macrophages.To provide experimental materials for further studies on the antimicrobial activity of natural antibacterial molecule-defensins against mycobacteria,the CDs of mature BNBD5 gene were cloned,with the expression vector mBNBD5-pPIC9 Ksuccessfully constructed and the mBNBD5 protein expressed in GS115,laying a foundation for further experiments.
