The eroded landscape spatial pattern distribution, landscape constitute structure and heterogeneity have been analyzed in the small watershed of Genxi River of Changting County, based on the means of the techniques of RS, GIS and landscape ecology. The results showed that the Shannon＇s diversity index and evenness index are relatively low, and the landscape division index of the whole small watershed is relatively high; the slightest erosion predominates, but its＇ index of fragmentation and division is the lowest; whereas the dominance index of the strong erosion and the most serious erosion landscape is minimum, but its＇ index of fragmentation, segregation and fractal dimension is maximums among the 5 types of the eroded landscape in the small watershed of Genxi River.
